Account Settings
Update your details, password, and preferences
Your account settings cover login details and app preferences — separate from the rich student profile, which lives on its own Students page.
Steps
- Go to Settings in the sidebar.
- The Account tab (the default) is where you update your name and other basic account details.
- Use the Notifications, Privacy, and Language tabs to adjust the rest of your preferences.
Changing your password
Use the "Forgot password" link on the login page to receive a password reset email, then follow the link in that email to set a new password.
Note: There is no separate "Profile" tab in Settings — that is intentional. Your own account details live in Account; a student's academic profile (GPA, achievements, goals) lives on the Students page instead.
Notifications, privacy, and language
The Notifications tab controls which emails you receive (like scholarship match alerts and weekly digests). Privacy covers how your information is handled. Language switches the interface language OppPaths displays in.
What you'll see
Changes save immediately within each tab — there is no separate "save all" step to remember. If you manage more than one student profile under a Family Pass, note that account settings here apply to your login, not to any individual student's academic details.
