Plan With the Timeline

Once your fit analysis is done, OppPaths can build a deadline-anchored action plan — a month-by-month roadmap counting backward from your project's real deadline, so you know what to do and when.

Steps

1. Make sure your project has a deadline set (edit the project if you have not added one yet).
2. Go to the Timeline tab and click Generate Timeline.
3. OppPaths produces a plan with specific activities (when to take tests, request references, or start writing essays), estimated costs, key milestones, and what to prioritize first.

Tip: This is most useful if you are applying 6 to 12 months ahead of the deadline — it gives you enough runway to actually follow the plan rather than just seeing how far behind you are.

What you'll see

The timeline lays out your months in order, each with concrete to-dos. Pair it with Track Progress to check items off as you complete them and stay on schedule as the deadline approaches.
