The AI Profile Interview

If typing out a full profile feels like a lot, the guided profile interview is a conversational way to fill in what is missing. It asks one focused question at a time instead of showing you a long form.

How it works

1. Open a student profile and start the interview.
2. Answer each question in your own words. The AI focuses first on the fields that matter most for scholarship matching, then works through everything else.
3. For any question, you have four options: answer it directly, Skip it (it will not be asked again), get a Hint for what kind of answer is expected, or click Help me answer, which drafts a possible answer into the input box for you to edit — the draft waits for your review, and only you decide what gets sent.
4. When you are done with a batch of answers, use Polish to have the AI clean up phrasing before it saves — your existing profile data is never overwritten by a blank answer.

Note: If a scholarship is linked to the profile, the interview may use it as background context to prioritize which gaps to ask about first, but it is never the main driver — the questions are about you, not about matching one specific scholarship.

What happens next

Every answer you give updates the underlying student profile immediately, so you can stop the interview at any point and everything you have answered so far is saved.
