Submit or Archive a Project
Close out an application, one way or the other
Every project ends one of two ways: you submit the application, or you decide not to pursue it and archive the project instead. Either way, OppPaths keeps the full record.
Marking a project as submitted
- Once your fit analysis is done and the project's prerequisites are met, a Mark as Submitted button appears on the project's progress tracker.
- Click it once you have actually sent the application to the scholarship provider.
- The project's status updates to reflect that the application is in.
Archiving a project
If you decide not to apply after all — the deadline passed, or it turned out not to be a fit — you can archive the project instead. Archiving keeps everything (documents, analysis, notes) but moves it out of your active list.
Note: Project status moves through draft, in progress, submitted, and finally accepted, rejected, or archived. Submitting does not require every optional step (like Progress or Timeline) to be finished — only the core steps through Analysis.
What you'll see
Submitted and archived projects are visually distinguished from active ones on your dashboard, so your active list always reflects what you are actively working on right now.
